Electrical installation prices 2026

Below is our 2026 price list and rates for electrical installation work: dismantling, lighting installation, distribution boards and switchgear, cable routes, sockets and switches, and related services. Prices are per unit, in UAH excluding VAT, for standard conditions: daytime work, a closed site and a mounting height of up to 3.5 m.

The final cost depends on the scope, the height, the condition of the premises and whether the site stays open during the work. We calculate the exact amount in an estimate after a site visit or from a floor plan.

What affects the cost

  • height: work above 3.5 m is charged with a factor of 1.5;
  • time of work: night work +50 % as a separate line;
  • operating site: if the store or office stays open during installation, +10 %;
  • administrative and overhead costs: 6 %;
  • transport: a separate line, depending on distance.

Items marked "by agreement" (earthing loop, relocating points) are calculated separately.

With a 4.5 m ceiling, the lighting work (the first three lines) is charged with a factor of 1.5: 55,260 UAH instead of 36,840 UAH.

Materials are not included: cable, conduit, boxes, breakers and the board are calculated separately in the estimate.

How to save on installation

  1. Plan the lighting before installation. A lighting calculation shows how many luminaires are needed and where they go. Extra lines and rework cost more than the design.
  2. Choose systems that are easy to install. Track busbar lets you move spotlights without new wiring, and linear trunking lines are installed as one continuous run with a single connection. How to choose the spotlights is covered in the article "How to choose track spotlights".
  3. Plan the controls from the start. Cable for DALI is cheaper to lay together with the power supply than to add later. What it gives in operation is calculated in the article "What store lighting costs over 10 years".
  4. Install while the site is closed. This avoids the 10 % surcharge for an operating site and 50 % for night work.

FAQ

Are the prices with or without VAT?

Without VAT. For VAT payers, 20 % is added to the amount.

Are materials included in the cost of work?

No. Cable, conduit, trays, boxes, switchgear and luminaires are calculated separately in the estimate.

How much does it cost to install a linear luminaire?

360 UAH per linear metre at a height of up to 3.5 m. Above 3.5 m, a factor of 1.5 applies.

How much does it cost to install track busbar?

360 UAH per linear metre, including all connectors, feeds and end caps. Installing a SHOOTER-M spotlight on the track costs 220 UAH per piece.

Can you work at night or on an operating site?

Yes. Night work is charged +50 %, work on an operating site +10 %.
