New LERROS casualwear shop in Kyiv
The casualwear brand LERROS came to Vision Lighting for a lighting design and installation of our lighting in its new shop.
Shopping malls often have no daylight, so the luminaires replace it entirely. We worked towards three goals: show the range at its best, create light in which shoppers feel comfortable and want to buy, and make the shop stand out from outside while keeping to the brand’s style.
TECHNIK TRL100ND track luminaires in the LERROS shop
For LERROS we used the 30 W TECHNIK TRL100ND LED track luminaire. The client chose this model for its compact look: the driver is built into the housing, so the luminaire looks light.
The TECHNIK TRL100ND mounts easily on single-circuit track or on TRACK-3F busbar with three independent lines.
Theatre-style accent light on the LERROS displays
On a sales floor with a lot of stock, we use a theatre technique. General light is dimmed slightly, and a beam is aimed at what needs to be seen first.
For a clothing shop we work to these guidelines: at least 500 lx on the floor, up to 3000 lx in windows, 1500 lx for accent light. Sources with Ra above 90 show colours brightly and naturally, and display areas should be noticeably brighter than the general light, by 40% or more. Keep in mind that bright light, ultraviolet and heat can damage fabrics, fur and leather.
