Stem Underwear lingerie boutique in Lavina Mall

Stem Underwear is a boutique of underwear, swimwear and pyjamas in Lavina Mall, Kyiv. We had already lit a clothing shop for STEM Concept Store, and this time we did the lighting for the lingerie boutique.

Underwear is rarely an essential purchase. The average shopper would sooner buy another pair of shoes than replace a set of underwear. So in a shop like this, presentation matters a lot, along with the atmosphere created by the interior, the fixtures, the staff and the light.

Neutral white 4000K light for Stem Underwear lingerie

Premium shops are usually lit in one of two ways. The first is subdued warm light around 3000K for a golden sunset effect. The second is neutral white 4000K, which renders the colour and texture of materials naturally.

Stem Underwear chose neutral white. It shows off bright colours and the quality of fabrics in underwear, swimwear and pyjamas. Shops like this need light sources with high colour rendering, CRI above 80 Ra. SQUARE luminaires have a CRI of at least 82 Ra and a COB CREE light source.

Black SQUARE recessed luminaires in the Stem Underwear grilyato ceiling

The boutique has 8 single SQUARE ELS166R recessed luminaires at 35 W and 8 double SQUARE ELS166Rx2 at 70 W, all in black. They are installed in a grilyato suspended ceiling of the same colour, so the luminaires blend into the ceiling.

SQUARE luminaires have adjustable (gimbal) heads. Light can be aimed at displays, wall racks, shelves or stands. The series suits grilyato and Armstrong ceilings well.
