01 · About

FREEDOM HOUSE furniture and decor showroom in Kyiv

FREEDOM HOUSE showrooms follow a new concept and offer a wide choice of modern Italian and German home furniture. Without professional retail lighting, the quality of design and materials is less visible, so lighting the showroom was a priority.

Furniture showrooms usually have large floor areas. The lighting has to be energy efficient and flexible, so it can be adjusted easily after the layout changes. A furniture sales floor needs at least 250 lx: in a comfortable space it is easier for a customer to decide.

02 · Accent light

Track spotlights for furniture accents in the FREEDOM HOUSE showroom

For a long time even, diffused light was thought to be enough for a decor showroom. Competition keeps growing, and quality accent lighting is now essential. Track spotlights pick out the right areas and displays and show products at their best. With colour rendering from 80 Ra, wood texture and upholstery fabric attract more attention than under ordinary light.

Accents also steer customer flow. If an area in the centre of the floor is highlighted, people do not stop at the entrance and spread across the whole space. Here professional light is complemented by luxury decorative luminaires, which give the showroom the feel of an exclusive mansion.

03 · Spotlights

PRIAGO TRL90 and TECHNIK TRL100 spotlights in the FREEDOM HOUSE showroom

The shop uses PRIAGO TRL90 and TECHNIK TRL100 LED track spotlights, both good value for money. The PRIAGO TRL90 consumes 18 W and gives more than 1300 lm, with an EPISTAR COB LED module and colour rendering above 75 Ra.

TECHNIK is a popular accent spotlight with an aluminium housing: 2850 lm luminous flux, a CREE chip, colour rendering of at least 82 Ra and a 3-year warranty. In the FREEDOM HOUSE showroom we followed the client’s wishes, delivered accent lighting and well-planned zoning of the floor.
