Egersund Seafood’s new format in Hatne

On 2 October 2026 Egersund Seafood opened a new-format store in Hatne: fish and seafood, a fresh zone, groceries and the Lazy Kitchen deli with seating along the glass facade. The sales floor is lit by Vision Lighting luminaires from our own production.

Almost all of the lighting is finished in RAL 7047 to match the ceiling and steelwork, so the lines and spotlights blend into the interior.

SHOOTER-M track spotlights with CRI 99 on the sales floor

The main light comes from more than 260 SHOOTER-M track spotlights, 24 W with a 38° beam. They sit on TRACK-3F lighting track: around 160 m of track hangs on cables up to 6 m long, bringing the light down closer to the shelving.

The sales-floor spotlights have a colour rendering index of CRI 99. In a store selling fish, meat, vegetables and wine this matters: the colours of produce and labels stay true instead of looking distorted or dull. The main colour temperature is 4000K, with some spotlights at 5000K.

Seafood counter: light lines above the counter

Above the fish counter and kitchen, against the dark blue wall, continuous LINK-CONT light lines are installed: a rectangular construction 41 m long in total and a 4.7 m Z-shaped construction. They provide even general light, while the track spotlights above the display bring out the ice and fish.

Cool 5000K light over the fish display emphasises how fresh the product on ice is, and the lines avoid shadows from people standing at the counter.

Fresh zone, groceries and Lazy Kitchen

Above the fruit and vegetables, SHOOTER-M spotlights use the special Fr spectrum: maximum colour rendering makes greens and fruit look bright and juicy. The same SHOOTER-M light the groceries, while RAY-D-CONT continuous lines in 4000K and 5000K, assembled from 0.9-3.4 m modules, run along the glass facade and the shelving.

In the Lazy Kitchen deli the light is warmer and DALI-controlled: 3000K spotlights with honeycomb louvres and WIRE-M pendants. The project also includes EDGE recessed luminaires. General flood lighting in the hall comes from 22 SKYLINE 100 W floodlights mounted at the top of the ceiling, above the tracks with the main lighting.

• SHOOTER-M track spotlights: 260+ units on the sales floor: 24 W, CRI 99, 38°, 4000K and 5000K; Fr spectrum over the vegetables; separate 3000K spotlights with DALI and honeycomb louvres in the deli.
• TRACK-3F lighting track: around 160 m of track in RAL 7047 and white, on suspensions up to 6 m.
• LINK-CONT linear constructions: a 41 m rectangle and a 4.7 m Z-shape above the seafood zone.
• RAY-D-CONT continuous lines: lines of 0.9-3.4 m modules above shelving and along the facade.
• WIRE-M pendant luminaires: above the Lazy Kitchen deli tables, DALI.
• EDGE recessed luminaires: 26 units in RAL 7047 with a black insert.
• SKYLINE floodlights: 22 units, 100 W, general flood lighting in the hall, mounted at the top of the ceiling above the main lighting.
